TT READERS GET ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY!

TT is pleased to offer readers a once in a lifetime opportunity!!

When we saw that a chair sold at Christie's for $28.3 million (financial meltdown? what financial meltdown), we began perusing our furniture with a new enthusiasm.

We are offering (exclusively to TT readers) the above 'artifact' for sale for $14 million (delivery charges not included). Sure, we understand it isn't an Eileen Grey chair (anyone even heard of Eileen Grey???) but it IS a Grey chair.

TT accepts cash (preferably in brown unmarked envelopes).

FORGET NORTH KOREA!!!

Good grief!!

While Hillary shakes her sabre at North Korea, shouldn't she (and others) take a look a little closer to home?

It would seem that the real nuclear menace is - how to put this delicately - ourselves (or allies).

How is it possible that two nuclear submarines - FULLY ARMED and LOADED - collide in the Atlantic Ocean? The French first 'mention' it on February 5 when they issued a 'fine print' statement stating that one of their nuclear subs had ' struck a submerged object -probably a container'. A container??? Puleeze.

It wasn't until earlier this week that the Brits finally admited that one of their fully loaded babies and bumped into a French loaded baby and a 'senior sailor' was able to comfor the world, saying there was 'no risk to the safety of the subs nuclear reactors and nuclear missiles'. No risk to the safety of the reactors or the missiles??? Hello. What about US???

With the Americans 'losing' a few nuclear weapons and the French and the British playing dodgums in the Atlantic, TT thinks North Korea and Iran are the least of our problems!!!

P.S. Remember the sub that hit the iceberg in 2003? Or the US sub that crashed into an 'undersea mountain' a few years ago? Feel better?

ISRAEL LURCHES TOWARDS 12 STATE SOLUTION

Could someone please explain Israeli politics to TT??

The person who won the most votes (just) isn't likely to become Prime Minister (of course, Al Gore didn't become President either). The Right Wing fights to see who can go farther to the right and the 'centrists' move the centre towards the right, while the left....well, we aren't sure there is one. Then there are all these little fringe guys who wangle their way into whatever coalition government and manage to control the agenda somehow.

We know the Palestinians cannot agree on who 'really' represents them and it's obvious the Israelis are also struggling to also out-crazy one another.

Good luck to O in hammering out what is shaping up to be a 12 state solution!!

'O's STIMULUS PACKAGE GETS UNEXPECTED SUPPORT

While O struggles to recapture the 'magic' after a fumble-bumble week of self-inflicted wounds, he got some good news.

A spokesman for Madonna Toy-Boy, A- Roid, issued a statement today supporting the President's 'stimulous' package. A-Roid ' strongly supports the President's effort to inject some muscle into the economy' The statement further said that A-Roid, accepts that sometimes an artificial injection is necessary to jump start and bulk up' the economy.

So far, there has been no reaction from the White House over the surprise endorsement.
